Apparently they're projecting a 26.4% drop for Apes today. I just don't see it. I think they're low balling it.

 

I don't know if they are, but 26.4% is more than reasonable in summer

Removing previews, Dawn dropped 47.44%. That's less than Rises's(pronounce this) drop of 48% after removing previews.

(I know it's not fair to remove previews, cause a lot of those folks would have watched the movie over the weekend, but it's still interesting.)

I think Days of  Future Past is going to fall short of Last Stand by as little as 1m

 

 

It's 3.9m behind now and X3 made 1.4m after from this weekend. That means DOFP must do 2.8x that to make it. 700k is about 2.3x X3's comparable weekend. But X3 started dropping a ridiculous 17-26% over the next three weekends. DOFP needs a discount expansion this week.

Malef has a 3.3m weekend which takes it to 228.3m.

It should improve on that gap as it's having better holds.

If DoFP can get 233-234m, Malef with better holds should manage 240m+.

Transformers should be over 900 WW now.  Not sure why they have China at 285 when it's now at 304.5 mill according to the China box office thread.

 

And sure Brazil's opening might be skewed but it is going to easily pass the 22 mill the third did.  The Italy opening is good as well.
