BTW, This weekend is the release of Unbroken, the new Angelina Jolie movie, I am really interested to see how that movie will perform here. Boxx93
Do you know how many tickets sold Frozen? Well that is not easy information to find because that is old information and the instagram account that reports this stuff is pretty new. The only scrap of information I could find about that is that up until January 6 Frozen sold 661,000 tickets on its third weekend of realese (Dec 20th). The total number of tickets sold that I could not find, sorry

Boxx93
Hi everyone. I have just registered in this forum bc I was searching the BO in LA and specially the Venezuelan one. BOM hasn't updated since november and I was asking myself, how was the BO in Venezuela, do you have a number of tickets sold or something? thanks Hi man welcome to the forum, check out the last pages and you will see the number of tickets sold in Venezuela each weekend since November 7. Speaking of witch: Tickets sold in Febraury 6-8: 01.- NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3 - 55,200 (280,000) 02.- THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SPONGE OUT OF WATER - 42,510 03.- JUPITER ASCENDING - 27,320 04.- BIG HERO 6 - 22,600 (1,300,700) 05.- AMERICAN SNIPER - 19,250 (108,450) 06.- EXODUS - 12,730 (234,810) 07.- TINKER BELL - 11,900 (111,950) 08.- 3 BELLEZAS - 11,240 (60,040) 09.- THE IMITATION GAME - 10,250 10.- OUIJA - 9,000 (127,940) A shame that neither Theory Of Everything or Wild got into the top 10, and 50 Shades and Penguins coming next weekend is not helping either.
A District 3 Engineer
This is what you are looking for: http://instagram.com/cdlasilusiones/ Wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but I saw some numbers and now I can imagine how was the Mockingjay BO here in Venezuela. Thank you so much, Tower! Hey, Boxx93, I read the last pages and I saw the Weekend BO, I was looking for something more... accurate. But now I know where to ask (blancica actually). Note: I'm a girl Note 2: my english is awful, please be nice Edited February 9, 2015 by A District 3 Engineer

Note: I'm a girl Note 2: my english is awful, please be nice You mean accurate as in total of tickets sold for each movie or the tickets sold converted into dollars? The latter is rather difficult to calculate because the prices vary depending on the formats the movie is shown (2D, 3D, 4DX, etc.) Total of tickets sold, I started to calculate that starting January of this year, the movies from november and december (with a few exceptions) I do not have the totals, but for Mockingjay Part 1 I estimate roughly 500,000 tickets sold witch puts it around 7,5m-8m dollars (Catching Fire made 4m so it made double of what the predecessor did) Note: I assumed you where a boy, sorry. Note 2: dont worry, I am not perfect with english either Anyway I hoped that helped. A District 3 Engineer
Doesn't have to be exactly. But an estimate is ok. I'm interested in the general Venezuelan BO, but now what I need to know is how it went Mockingjay part 1. I went to the instagram account and calculated about 600.000 sold tickets, but when the movie came out of the top 10 I couldn't calculate anymore. Last notes: I'm gonna stay around, I was surfing this forum and I really loved it. Thanks for your help, guys. A District 3 Engineer
Guys, I finally have the information that I was looking for: Mockingjay part 1 sold 560.676 tickets in Venezuela. How much do you think will that represent in the BO? I know is kind difficult to calculate it bc of the problems we all know we have, but can you give me a hand? A District 3 Engineer
It doesn't seem but it is. Remember Venezuela isn't a big country and we have a lot of economics issues right now. Total admissions for Mockingjay was 570.000 in 11 weeks and it was better than Catching Fire.

Hernan Gonzalez
Fifty Shades Of Grey accumulated over 200,000 tickets sold over the long Carnival Holiday. Who said this is not impressive? Taking in account how expensive tickets are in Venezuela that should be around $2.5m!!! Very impressive!!!
