Let's take a look at its new openings! :)

Finland:$137,990  Already higher than Taken and it will easily beat Taken 2 soon

Hungary:$295,081 Better opening than Taken 2 and it has already beat Taken

India:$242.444   The first Taken didn't even open in India and it will soon beat Taken 2.

In Netherlands its drop was just 17%,its ahead of Taken and just 97k away from Taken 2!

:D

From here it says that Lucy marked the 3rd biggest opening ever for a Universal movie in UAE with $1.2m and it also had great openings in Turkey with $646k and Philippines with $1.3m!

Why? You think it's going to be rejected by the government censors because they think it's pro-Taiwan or something like that?

Because it shows e.g. the Taiwanese flag, the city as a functioning established structure/being/whatever...

China seems reacting a tad bit irritated about all, that might support the existence of Taiwan as a country. See a lot of countries still have no real ambassador or consul, but only 'paid-consul' and the whys.
