Blanked Out Reviews, Y9 (TOP 25!)

Recommended Posts

I am actually kind of interested in seeing why you weren't huge on M&MS, though, if only for tips on improvement.

My main issue with it was the same as Rukaio's. It didn't feel like an animated movie all except for the shadows. The college setting is what really did it in for me; initially, it's very neat to see an animated movie in that setting, but after the first paragraph or so you just kinda went normal college stuff, which was dull and not very fitting of an animated movie.

Fair enough. The decision to make it animated probably wasn't great, but it was primarily out of respect for the original premise. How different would the score have been if it were live action?

If it was live-action, it would've been bumped up a bit in my rankings, but still would've remained probably a 7/10, or maybe a low 8/10. My issue was that whenever it focused on the humans, I became pretty bored :P

Top 25 will come tomorrow, along with 10 HMs and the 10 Worst of the Year littered in.

I'm bringing back the odd announcement order too; stealing the directors in alphabetical order bit :D

(Also, top 5 will be held back till last post obviously :P)

Are the forums still going to be up tomorrow? If not, I'm really not sure how I'm going survive waiting the 2-3 days until they're back online.

I hope so; if more because I like my avatar and I can't pay to upgrade until Thankgiving D:
