My main issue with it was the same as Rukaio's. It didn't feel like an animated movie all except for the shadows. The college setting is what really did it in for me; initially, it's very neat to see an animated movie in that setting, but after the first paragraph or so you just kinda went normal college stuff, which was dull and not very fitting of an animated movie. The decision to make it animated probably wasn't great, but it was primarily out of respect for the original premise. How different would the score have been if it were live action?
