I don't know if that would be a good movie. Have to read it. I think it lends itself to being a movie a lot more then "The Goldfinch" does. But they have to be casting the two leads. You have to find two really good actors in their mid teens;and that the girl lead charecter is blind makes it a bit harder. And since it has a World War 2 setting with a couple of major battle pieces it won't be cheap to make. Main plot is about a friendship between a blind French girl and a Hitler Youth who has been drafted into the army in 1944.
