Honestly this reactions sounds better than TLK to me, that praise is mostly for the visual aspect. 
 

I think Mistress Of Evil will get similar reception to the first one in the 50’s, but i won’t be surprised with low 60%.

As someone who thought the first film was underwhelming.....a paint it by the numbers Disney fantasy with littlein it that was  original  (I got pretty bored by the end)...I admit from the reviews this is now looking like it might be fun.

A little surprised that the Mouse apparently let the director go really over the top and a little crazy on this.

Though it looks as though Michell Pffeifer might steal the movie....

I feel like this is going to do surprising numbers, much in the way the first one did. I've been seeing a lot of advertising for it on social media. Angelina and Michelle are out there PROMOTING this.

Don't know when reviews come out, but David Sims just put the movie in his Letterboxd at 2.5/5. For reference, he gave the first one 1.5/5, so make of that what you will. Guess we'll get more info soon?

I feel absolutely no hype for this compared to the original. I don't want to call an Alice 2 type run this early, because Alice 2 was a dreadful movie (and we don't know, this might be half decent). But I'm not nearly as optimistic as I was a few months ago.

Well Disney did it, 4 live  actions entries, 3 remakes 1 sequel,  all panned. I know they they’ve been successful at the B.O. but this is not a good long term strategy the bottom will eventually fall. We already saw the less sexier names struggle (Dumbo, MPR, Christopher Robbins) next step will be the sequels being DOA.
