Or just update the title of the original thread since it never went away

I get that the people involved are excited, but to me it feels more like they're running around an empty field hoping lightning will strike them a second time.

On a personal note, Disney has announced a sequel to one of my favorite movies on my birthday and all I feel is worry.

(And anyone want to place bets that this is now the Nov 21, 2018 film?)

Happy birthday!

By the way, #Frozen2 is now the number one trending topic worldwide. The little girls are excited!

Happy b'day! :D

I think the movie in question is the Rumpelstiltskin adaptation though, especially as it was strongly rumored to be set in Spain.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if another switch took place on the WDAS release schedule, ala Giants and Moana, freeing Bove and Lee for Frozen 2.

What a shitty announcement.

I'm completely disinterested with these sequels and shit these days.

Frozen 2 really? Fuck off John Lasseter. It already makes billions and billions and they don't have enough.

Toy Story 4...as if Cars 2 and Cars 3 and Dory weren't all enough already. More from the same from the creatively bankrupt Mouse House.

They're doing a Rumpelstiltskin adaptation?:o... I'm sure it'll be at least decent, but I'll likely just be thinking of Once Upon a Time's version.:P

Yeah, it was supposedly going to be titled "The Name Game", be set in Spain (meaning First Latina Disney Princess) and they were interested in casting Lea Michelle for the lead (meaning musical). Dunno how true any of this is though or even if it was, how much of it is still on the table.

Waiting for the inevitable news that Elsa will get a love interest and watch the entire Internet cabal that wants the character to die a lonely unloved cat lady virgin freak out.

Disney will be too dumb if they pull a love interest for Elsa. But yeah, it will happen.
