Perhaps it's the fact that I was infinitely more hyped about Dreamgirls (which, rather unfortunately, didn't reach my hometown until mid-January) that Christmas, but I completely forgot that Black Christmas even existed.

 

Even though the relative success of Krampus is quite impressive, it's hard to believe that we haven't seen a Christmas movie cross $100 million since A Christmas Carol six years ago - and even that one didn't quite live up to pre-release expectations.
