in the shazam opening weekend the dceu will hit 5 billlion worldwide and 3 billion overseas

if shazam opens with 77.5m domestic the dceu will hit 2 billion domestic.

Fuck's sake. Just saw on the news now that there's a preview-type thing and they have that winter fair set rebuilt on the Southbank in London, and Zachary Levi and Mark Strong are there. And I worked form home today. Had I known, I'd have gone. Dammit.

Might give this a shot,could be fun. Once you get over the prosecution values are usually not very high (serials were done a very limited budget) old time serials can be a lot of fun.

And the 1941 "Captain Marvel" is generaly considered one of the best.

Same, these glowing early impressions give me the feeling going to be as well received as Wonder Woman. That and the embargo lifting two weeks ahead of the release date.

I'm going into it assuming fun and cheesy, not a traditional SH movie which isn't a bad thing. I seriously doubt consensus reviews would be that high unless it's pretty enjoyable. I expect good things at 80+ opening.
