I liked Shazam in the Young Justice TV show, curious to see this, there's a high potential in terms of humor.

Seems like Superman will be in more of these solo movies that's not his own. Umberto teased in his twitter account of The Flash and Superman racing so either we get a scene of the two racing in Justice League or, more likely, he's going to be a part, perhaps big, in Flashpoint.

I wouldn't mind them taking a route from the comics or similar to Spider-Man: Homecoming, having Superman playing as Shazam's mentor (ala Iron Man and Spidey)

That could work although Shazam is likely to be an origin story so I wonder they could fit Superman in.

They can adapt Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam but with a different villain. In that movie, Billy Batson was going to meet Clark Kent but saves a guy without powers on a way resulting into a black eye. Black Adam attacks the city and Superman and Captain Marvel fighting back. Have Billy become Shazam in Act 1, Superman helps the old Captain Marvel to fight a powerful villain (not Black Adam due to reasons), the old one dies and the two teamup.

Throw in Lois and the other kids in Billy's orphanage and that could work like a 90's children's classic! There's some great potential here if DC plays its cards just right.

This can be DCEU's most family friendly franchise. I think if Superman is in Shazam, we'll see a Homecoming style run: $115M OW/$315M-$335M domestic. My question is what'll it be rated, will it aim for a PG like BH6/Incredibles or a light PG-13 like Homecoming.
