Caladbolg
shouldn't gotg be doing much better overseas, how much can be expected from china and japan? It's doing fine, OS it passed all of the solo "firsts" in the MCU and still raking in the money, and still has a few major markets to open. Ruthie
I am going to cry when Ninja Turtles passes Dragon 2 domestically. Please, American moviegoers, do not make me cry. It's been a long time since I made someone cry, and you represent a great opportunity. Get your hanky ready. *buys tickets for four to see TMNT*
terrestrial
Maleficent > Transformers 4? Maleficent 14 August = $236,412,469 1 September = $238,715,000 => I don't think so (or: only if it stays in the cinemas till after Christmas or so - not seriously calculated!) miketheavenger
LEGO Divergent Heaven Cap 2 TASM2 DOFP EOT GOTG This is actually a pretty good year after all. Especially for comic book movies. IMO, TASM 2 was the only mediocre one, the rest were all at least very good, if not amazing.

Ent
Gitesh Pandya @giteshpandya 17mEdgeOfTomorrow officially crossed $100M dom mark w/ $100.15M. Been 9yrs since #TomCruise did this in non-MI lead role.
Captain Craig
^^^ I guess congrats is in order? I guess. EoT was scratching itself over this milestone at discount theaters and does nothing to showcase the film this late in it's run. Especially given the films cost. Still a domestic disappointment. It just got lost in the post-Memorial Day shuffle. It's a fun movie but clearly Jack Reacher, Oblivion and EoT are foundations for an argument that Tom is not the draw he once was. I saw all 3 and enjoyed them but a pattern is emerging.

Captain Craig
Probably the most underappreciated 'blockbuster' this summer season. I can agree with this. Now I didn't see HTTYD2 but would some also put that in the camp as well?
