Screw SpongeBob. Every single season after the movie has gotten worse and worse.

As long as the kids like it (and I hear they do) that's not a problem.

The trailer looks like the movie may be something to barely cross 100m. Though UIP has really strange idas about the movie in my country. First they wanted to go head to head with Paddington (gues which will be the first choice for kids) and now they are going 1 week after Shaun the Sheep which is targeting very similar viewers.

Its just my opinion. It's just my thoughts on the state of the show.

I would be super pleased with 130-150OS. The fact that this could pull in 300WW certainly says something about the worldwide appeal of the SpongeBob brand! Fingers crossed for a third instalment that doesn't take 10 years this time!

"The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water added $21.9 million this weekend, which includes strong openings in Germany ($5.3 million) and France ($3 million). It was less impressive in South Korea, where it opened outside the Top 5 with an estimated $1.4 million. The movie has $76 million in the bank so far, which is more than the 2004 SpongeBob movie earned in its entire run. Next weekend, it expands in to Italy, then reaches the U.K. and Australia around Easter."
