I think Nightcrawler will win the weekend, even if it does so barely. Zack & Miri (the last movie to open when Halloween fell on a Friday in 2008) barely opened over the $10M mark, and the reviews/marketing for Nightcrawler are too strong for it go unnoticed by audiences, especially on such a dead weekend.

Nightcrawler could have found bigger success if they just movie it to January, The 31st of October is a bad release date for a movie that looks appealing
