Universal really has a good news bad news at the box office this weekend.

1917,already doing well at the box office  will probably get a big bump from all the Oscar nominations;

But Doolittle seems certain to be an expensive bomb for them.

Early reviews of Doolittle are leaking out; it looks like it's a unmitigated disaster.

I think 25 Million might be the ceiling for it now.

Hate to look like I am bragging but most projections now have 30 Million off the table for Dolittle,20 to 25 Million is the projection.

What is going to be the biggest film of February?

Nothing seems to stand out at the moment to my knowledge.

Unless if Sonic really goes fast (from what I understand Birds of prey is not getting the best trailer reactions-then again neither is Sonic)

You're right that nothing is really standing out but it's still probably going to be the no-brainer choice: Birds of Prey.

The Turning looks like hot garbage. But The Grudge bombed hard so maybe we need a January horror hit this year? Gentlemen I think looks way better but I don't see it doing particularly well in NA.

I'll go out on a limb and say 15M for Turning

9 for Gentlemen.
