Because it had a better 2nd weekend hold than MJ1. And also, it's made less than MJ1 so far, so a 50-55% drop isn't that unreasonable. 

 

$22.5 million would give MJ2 a 57-58% drop. Not that hard to achieve.

Yeah i figured out that it should match MJ1's weekend but 25M will be hard. That's almost CF level.

Well Alvin, Joy and The Revenant are apparently the most safe from Star Wars (not sure if TR even goes wide this year though). They say Point Break and Sisters are the most in danger meanwhile. (Surprised by Sisters being listed, even though I think it looks bad I would of thought that be a counter to it)
