What will win in August (guessing Christopher Robin right now)

As for September-I have no idea (Maybe House with Clock).

Christopher Robin for sure. September is going to be The Nun or Night School

So what do you guys think will be the quietest weekend this year?

Last year it was the weekend of August 25-27. The top 12 accounted for a measly $50,792,670 and the total box office that weekend amounted to $69,312,450. THE HITMAN'S BODYGUARD led the way, barely passing the $10 million mark with $10,262,619.

Late August looks a little better this year but Labor Day weekend (August 31-September 2) could still be a candidate, depending on how SEARCHING fares (and subsequently holds). Depending on how big HALLOWEEN is, October 26-28 is another possibility. The new releases that weekend look pretty uninteresting.

My pick is December 7-9. You've got your usual pre Thanksgiving Wednesday releases landing pretty early this year on the 21st and so far there are zero wide releases scheduled for Friday the 23rd or the 30th! Holdovers will obviously be strong but by the weekend of the 7th to 9th - itself only having one wide release in THE SILENCE - a lot of demand will have been burnt off so numbers will be pretty small anyway.

Thought of creating a new thread for this but figured this thread was perfect. What do you guys think??

Well for the heck of it, here are trailers for upcoming films I have seen in theaters (as a note, not many, Incredibles 2 I missed the trailers, where at Skyscraper there were just 2 trailers, nice part about that theater is there is usually just 3-4, unlike when I saw Black Panther it had SEVEN trailers!)

Mission Impossible 6

Darkest Minds

The Meg

Alpha (I honestly forgot about this film till about a month ago when I saw it's poster)

House with a Clock on it's Wall

Venom

Mowgli

First Man

Nutcracker

The Grinch

Fantastic Beasts 2

Creed 2

Robin Hood

Mortal Engines

Alita

Dumbo

New Mutants (saw this at Thor 3, gee it's never coming out I guess)

Wow a lot more then I thought!

Forgot to mention First Man was a trailer I also saw-which looks really good. I was looking at the release schedule and I must of missed it. (There was some really stupid looking film I saw a trailer for at Ant Man that was about some thug getting shot called Hate or something like that)

I wonder when New Mutants will come out?
Trailers for movies I've seen that never came out to theaters;
Dino Time 3D

Ring of Fire (not to be confused with Reign of Fire-this was a bull riding film never released to theaters that was a trailer at various films in 2000 and 2001 that never got releaed to theaters)
The Poughkeepsie Tapes (Trailer at I am Legend, finally released on demand in 2014!)

There might be a few other ones that I can't remember.
