Yeah, The Commuter feels like a bit of a dud. Muted marketing campaign and it looks mostly interchangeable with Neeson's previous action vehicles (especially Non-Stop - it literally looks like the same exact movie but on a train instead of a plane).

Same director as well! I hope this isn't successful because Neeson needs to make less of these films.

Den of Thieves just looks awful. Like Triple 9, which was already sorta boring, but just bad on top of that. 3M because I'm biased.

12 Strong I don't really sense 13 Hours level buzz, but I could see that movie ending up in the mid-teens.

 

What's going to be more interesting next weekend IMO is seeing how well The Post is able to hold up

I highly doubt TGS will drop worse on 2/16-2/19 than 12 Strong.

With it out-performing the other two overseas this weekend, I find it hard to imagine MR is only going to do half of what its predecessors did on OW domestically. I could see low 20's for sure even though I'm predicting 25, but a debut similar to Den of Thieves just doesn't seem feasible.
