Ezen Baklattan
The Judge didn't have a bad drop from Monday... The drop was probably softened by Discount Tuesday. The Judge is most likely to attract the elderly/mom set of audiences for new films.
TalismanRing
The Judge didn't have a bad drop from Monday... Older adult drama audience. It only dropped 52% from Sun - Tues, looking like a soft w/e drop unless Fury hurts it.

kitik
If The Judge skews older as the weekend data seemed to indicate it was doing, then we should expect it to have semi-decent legs, and slightly better than average drops. Won't be enough to magically turn it into a hit or anything, but an extra 5-10M certainly won't hurt it.

Ando918
Glad to see that Gone Girl is crushing it with only a 55 million dollar budget. Hopefully it can end up with at least 140 domestic / 250 worldwide. I'm starting to get sick of the fact that there are so many tentpoles and sequels filling up the screens aimed at kids and teenagers. I mean, even now the theaters are filled to the brim with kids' movies (Dolphin Tale 2, Boxtrolls, Alexander and the Terrible, Book of Life, etc.) Edited October 15, 2014 by Ando81

Hopefully it can end up with at least 140 domestic / 250 worldwide. I'm starting to get sick of the fact that there are so many tentpoles and sequels filling up the screens aimed at kids and teenagers. I mean, even now the theaters are filled to the brim with kids' movies (Dolphin Tale 2, Boxtrolls, Alexander and the Terrible, Book of Life, etc.) Last year, there was 1 family film over fall. And this summer only had 4 family films (May 2nd-September 1st): 2 of which weren't even major. Boxtrolls seems like a fun, well-done animated film so I have no problem with it. Alexander's a live-action family comedy, which is almost extinct so I'm fine with it. Dolphin Tale 2 and Book of Life are both meh, though... Ando918
I'm not against having kids/family movies released once in a while. Personally, I think How to Train Your Dragon 2 could deserve a Best Director nomination to go along with the likes of Foxcatcher and Birdman, but I know that will never happen. But over the course of year, there are simply too many of them. We even have Big Hero coming up after Book of Life. It is just overload. The target/median age of the movie industry used to be people in their 30s....then it was people in their 20s (probably in the horror age days of Jason/Freddy, etc.)...and now it is down to 15 year old mallrats.
