- 2014 sci-fi films are not eligible. I am using IMDb for this as well, so if a movie is listed as 2014 on IMDb, it wont get in.

 

 

 

Wanted to ask about Snowpiercer as it is a special case due to the 2013 release in Korea and France but summer 2014 or later in most countries that members here are from.

 

Should it be disqualified from voting as technically for most people it is a 2014 film (even though I saw it in August 2013)

I move for an exception to the IMDB rule for films that clearly have a sci-fi component.

The Prestige's second half revolves around a teleportation machine that creates exact copies. That is a sci-fi element for sure.

Which is completely without basis, given the 987236 copies of Jackman by the end of the film. Hell, Jackman sees a copy of himself made in front of his very own eyes. The only question is whether it is the copy or the original who gets transported.
