13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi | Michael Bay | 40M on homevideo sales so far (Page 20)

I'm really interested in this, and after American Sniper, who knows how well it can do? (if its good)

Considering it's Michael Bay, I'd say $120-140 million DOM is a given. It's the same as Lone Survivor, Black Hawk Down, etc. Combining Bay's blockbuster mayhem with an MLK-slated war film will pay off.

Yea I think this will perform similar to Lone Survivor. I also think it may be good. Lone Survivor was from the director of Battleship and Hancock and was a really good drama. Maybe Bay can do the same thing with this.

Bad Boys 1

The Rock

Pain and Gain

Bay has shown before he can do solid real-world, non-tentpole films before. But his name holds far more stigma with critics than Peter Berg. Even if the film is Lone Survivor quality, I imagine the film will have a 45-55% on RT.

Aye, he performs well at the box office regardless of the subject. Only bomb he's done is The Island, iirc?
