stripe
And when we thought that Actor would be a race between Keaton, Redmayne and Oyelowo, Spall reigns over all them LOL That shows how unpredictable the awards can be sometimes

TalismanRing
— Sidney Falco A press agent's work is never done even 50+ years after his on screen death. Great to see that movies from the beginning of the year have not been forgotten, even those Wenstein tried to bury. narniadis
Very happy with these wins. Boyhood was a fabulous film and I hope to watch Mr. Turner sometime this week.
TalismanRing
Kristopher Tapley @kristapley Apparently "Selma" and "Inherent Vice" had Best Picture support in the NYFCC vote. Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Julianne Moore in Best Actress. Kristopher Tapley @kristapley David Oyelowo, Eddie Redmayne and Alfred Molina were in the mix for actor Norton for supporting, though Birdman had little support. #NYFCC
riczhang
The only thing I think that we get out of that is that Birdman is very weak amongst the NY critics (and that could be pointing out an underlying problem with the movie that there is no passion). It is extremely surprising that Keaton wasn't even in top 4 for the win, when almost everyone thought that he would be the NY winner. Given birdman, this is almost the best critics group for it to win in, which could bode bad news for the movie in the next 2 weeks.

CloneWars
I think this tells us that Grand Budapest is going to get a BP nom. Boyhood will be a force to be reckoned with in February.
