Just got back from seeing Southpaw. I loved it. sure it may have been a little by the numbers storywise. but emotional sports movies are my weakness. especially when they star Gyllenhaal.

Well, I will have to download this. It seems it will never come out here. Shocking, IMO. This isn't usual at all. I have to assume Weinstein was asking too much for the rights and every Portuguese distributor told them to fuck off.

 Also, Gyllenhall is probably still NOT a name enough for some foreign distributors.

Nightcrawler come out here and didn't exactly set the world on fire so I assume they are afraid of spending too much in this. Weinstein is probably asking a ton of money for the rights.
