Also, A Good Year, Body Of lies, Robin Hood, Prometheus, The Counselor, Exodus : Gods & Kings really showcased what an accomplished & nuanced storyteller Ridley Scott really is. goddamn, why are you so weird. even when i agree with you i can't like a point because you seem to have a complete inability to not express something in the douchiest way. try not being smug once. see how it feels.

He has recreated that Lambert scene with higher production values. Hopefully, we will see the whole damn thing...if you know what I mean..he shot it..will it stay in the final cut or modify it... I like how tone deaf this trainwreck of a trailer is. You show the captain's death and the ensuing bloodbath. Title card. Then you cap it off with a steamy sex scene climaxing in a cheap bloody shot out of a Fred Olen Ray's sleazy b-monster flick because nothing screams more arousing than being stranded on a spaceship a million light years away from Earth with a rampaging and relentess alien killing machine who offed your captain. MikeQ
Looks great, and I'm glad it looks heavy on the horror elements. But I also loved Prometheus - come on, the self-administered alien abortion was the greatest thing ever. Keep bringing it Ridley Scott. Can't wait for this - looks like a lot of fun.Peace,MikeSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The latter really looks cheaper comparing trailers, or maybe it's because the work on Prometheus' VFX of were more advanced by the time this trailer was released? Also, my god, that's such a fantastic trailer. Edited December 25, 2016 by The47th

What the fuck is this shit?" Alien Covenant comes out: "Meh, Xenomorphs again? C'mon, do something new or a "proper" follow-up to Prometheus" The trailer to me looks like a straight up soft reboot of Alien with a Ripley clone, and I think its obvious they're doing a U-turn after lots of Alien fans were loudly disappointed with Prometheus. I might be in the minority on this one, but I personally I would've preferred a "proper" sequel to Prometheus and let Neil Blomkamp go forward with his fanboy rehash film. EmpireCity
I really hope everyone finds something to bitch about with every single picture or trailer released. Makes going to the movies so much fun.

BoxOfficeZ
Kind of tired of trailers showing a little more than they should.
WeneedtotalkaboutKevin
Prometheus trailer is arguably better than this alien trailer. Better sharp cuts, much more intense without spoiling much. Better use of music. The way I see it, Fox has a turkey and is trying real hard to cover it up and has us believe it is not so. TLK
Trailer looks good but it also looks more of the same. I am not sure if it will make more than Prometheus Worldwide.
