Blankments
^the only film category I didn't vote in. I literally went through all 70 movies I saw on IMDB before sending in my ballot, and none of them qualified as horror
Blankments
Nah, it was much better than The Interview. Eh, it had good moments, but Interview was more fun and was actually directed.
CoolioD1
Didn't vote on horror film (disliked oculus and babadook was only ok) personally would've voted for Still Alice as my #1 choice.
Blankments
I do regret not putting Tony Revolori on my ballot for Breakthrough Performance. I forgot how much I liked him in Budapest

Empire
Eh, it had good moments, but Interview was more fun and was actually directed. I disagree. Neither made my ballot though.
Blankments
We have to wait? :noooo: With LEGO not getting a nom in Comedy though, I guess that means I probably won't be asked to do a write-up for anything in Picture

CoolioD1
OK, so Life Itself is a weak-ass, not especially inspired documentary, meanwhile, Jodorowsky's Dune and Citizenfour are both in my top 10 of the year, with the former being a must-see for anyone who has any artistic aspirations and the latter being a must-see for well, anyone who lives under a government. And I get the strangest feeling I know which one will win, and it ain't a nice feeling...
4815162342
Only saw one quasi-slasher film this year so I abstained from the horror cat.
4815162342
Go die Don't hate the player, hate the film that isn't as good as you think it is.
Ezen Baklattan
(btw I had under the skin and interstellar scores that spaghetti posted playing at the same time. kinda worked) Oh my god it actually sounds kind of amazing
BadAtGender
God, so many of my nominations would be different, now. I've seen several films since these were due.
Blankments
Don't hate the player, hate the film that isn't as good as you think it is. I think it's hilarious you talk about yourself in second-person

Dementeleus
Here are the best movies you need subtitles for: Best Foreign Film! Late to the game, but if I had seen it in time, I would've included LEVIATHAN in my nominations.
Ezen Baklattan
Late to the game, but if I had seen it in time, I would've included LEVIATHAN in my nominations. Leviathan probably could have gotten in if more people saw it.
CoolioD1
force majeure yo. accept no substitutes. I'd implore people to not vote for the foreign film or documentary categories if they haven't seen all the nominated films. that way we can avoid something dumb like life itself winning just because I know it's the one most people here have seen.
