Cyber 7 was my 3rd of the year, so no complaints.

 

The year was fairly weak, so you guys can only blame yourselves for Tsunami Rukaio.

 

It'll be some time until we get another proper strong year.

Yeah, I agree with that. I don't think I would've done nearly as well if the competition had been at the level of even of just last year. But hey, I'll take the cheap Oscars where I can get them. 

 

I'm surprised how poorly Battle for Brazil did though. Highest on the critical consensus, No 1 on three lists, the frontrunner for a lot of categories, especially Best Picture, but it only ended up with Supporting Actor, Original Screenplay and Editing. Admittedly, it only lost Best Picture because Empire ranked it last, but I was expecting a stronger performance.

 

Also, weird note, this the second year in a row my Traditional Animation has won every award its been up for. Admittedly, it's a hell of a lot more impressive this year than last year (where Redwall was only up for 3), but I think you all ought to look out for Giants of Asambhava. (Although I really don't think I'm going to be able to top this year.)
