The movie is probably going to do the biggest OD of alltime in France...

In admission the record is owned since 2007 by Spider-Man 3 which did 804 000 admission during the French's labor day (May the 1st).

In dollars the record is owned since 2011 by Harry Potter 7-2

Spectre already did 270 000 admissions during its advanced screenings.

I don't believe !

SPECTRE is release with the best date possible. 11/11 this is Armistice Day in France ! It will decrease quickly.

Star Wars will release with a normal date, but it will have all the holidays for be a success.

Opening day record (in admissions) is not often beaten !

TOP 10 :

1/Spectre (official opening day waiting)

2/Spider Man 3 : 804 345 admissions (2007)

3/Taxi 2 : 801 922 (2000)

4/Ice Age 3 : 767 099 (2009)

5/Harry Potter 7.2 : 732 206 (2011)

6/Harry Potter 5 : 720 610 (2007)

7/Pirates of the Caribbean 2 : 693 303 (2006)

8/Revenge of the Sith : 641 799 (2005)

9/Harry Potter 2 : 631 400 (2002)

10/Astérix Mission Cléopâtre : 629 148 (2002)

Nevertheless, Revenge of the Sith had a normal date in 2005, but no holidays period unlike this new Star Wars.

Its holding up very very well here in Denmark. I just saw it today..

For me it was atleast on par with Skyfall and the theme song worked amazing for something that does'ent work very well on the radio IMO..

Many say it drags in the middle. For me it was a journey well buildup.. I hated the fastpace QoS... This worked much better for me..

Only CR was a notch better in the DC series..

The end was a lttle to Hollywood for me though
