jb007 Posted February 3, 2016 Share Posted February 3, 2016 Best Movies of 2015: 1. Star Wars: The Force Awakens: A glorious return to the phenomenal domination days of Star Wars saga. The fact that this brand is still as strong after four decades is amazing. It is simply the greatest movie series of all-time. JJ Abrams has delivered a fantastic movie that is a great addition to the Star Wars saga. Harrison Ford and Daisy Ridley have turned in superb performances. The final scene is masterful. 2. Bridge of Spies: Steven Spielberg, the greatest director in history comes up with a gem. The great Tom Hanks is ably supported by a fantastic Mark Rylance. 3. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation: Tom Cruise=Quality. Having watched his career take off from the days of Risky Business, I’m absolutely amazed by his commitment to quality movies. He has been at the top of his game for over 33 years. Rogue Nation is no different, It is a fantastic movie with a great script and performances. The scene where the villain, Lane, played brilliantly by Sean Harris, is boxed in the glass cage gives me goose bumps every single time I watch it. 4. Mad Max Fury Road: Having been a big fan of Mad Max and Road Warrior, I was floored by this reboot. Director George Miller has delivered a great movie. It is sad that Charlize Theron was not nominated for an Oscar. 5. Jurassic World: Nostalgia rules. This movie takes us back to the glory days of Jurassic Park.
