Olive Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Disney/Marvel’s Ant-Man sprang into action in 37 offshore markets this frame, colonizing $56.4M in the process. That falls pretty much in line with expectations which were in the $55M-$60M range, based on debut performances of other Marvel titles in the same territory batch. Contrary to the Stateside bow, Ant-Man is currently tracking +23% versus Thor and +44% versus Captain America: The First Avenger in the same suite of markets. The top play thus far was the UK with $6M, followed by Mexico at $5.6M, Russia at $4.9M, France and Australia at $4M, Brazil at $3.8M, Taiwan with $3.7M, Malaysia with $2.8M, the Philippines taking $2.7M and Thailand at $2.6M. 2 Quote

IndustriousAngel Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Austria and Germany look tough for Ant-Man; the release is not very wide and even those few shows are rather empty ... despite good reviews! Bit I had the impression marketing was very reluctant, as if they didn't trust their product. Quote
