Frozen
That's a terrible number for the Hobbit 9% increase. It was one of only two of the big films (Unbroken being the other) to increase today. Everything else dropped.
narniadis
Hobbit is going to be afflicted with the same issues that the rest of the family friendly movies have. No surprise and it's a good number considering.

Elessar
Hobbit is going to be afflicted with the same issues that the rest of the family friendly movies have. No surprise and it's a good number considering. Hobbit behaves less like a family movie as could be seen during the holidays. It skews older and male.
John Marston
hopefully tiny increases means everything won't drop like shit on Wednesday

Elessar
hopefully tiny increases means everything won't drop like shit on Wednesday They'll probably still drop like shit. Monday seemed to have been inflated, hence the small increases / drops.
Frozen
Hobbit behaves less like a family movie as could be seen during the holidays. It skews older and male. Really? I would have thought it skewed more female, seeing all the fangirls the lead actors seem to have.
Elessar
Really? I would have thought it skewed more female, seeing all the fangirls the lead actors seem to have. At least during opening weekend it was about 60% over the age of 25 and male if i remember correctly.
John Marston
so that explains why the Monday number didn't seem "that bad".

Elessar
so that explains why the Monday number didn't seem "that bad". Well, Hobbit was less inflated, hence the relatively good increases today.
