Most epic soundtrack ever summer blockbuster!

Recommended Posts

While it's in no way a "blockbuster" as today's terminology would be, this film deserves a mention since it's the only one in its (unofficial) series to be released in the "summer" (May).

Another masterpiece...

I advise everyone to look up bootlegs of TLK's complete score on Youtube since the official release only includes four tracks (five on some international versions) which are mere edits of several key sequences.

For example, This Land is an edit of two different tracks appearing at two entirely separate parts of the film.

I haven't seen A Few Dollars More in a long time, but that was different from what I expected. The first two minutes don't even sound western-y at all. Edited by C00k13

It's the music from the final duel in the film C00k13. The biggest recurring motif in the film is a music tune from a pocketwatch which has big importance for two of the three main characters (though we don't learn about its importance to one of them until the duel scene). While a lot of the duel music is "Un-Western-y" it packs a lot of punch in the context of the scene.

I see. I listen to most soundtracks before watching their respective movies so I guess I got left out of the context of the scene.
