I think the release date is good!    Why is it bad?   Are there other movies that close.   I know Spectre comes out before it, but I don't see that being a problem.

Well it does look like it has competition. I still think it will do well though because of the premiere. We will see.

lol, 520 isn't a bad guess, but I think it will go 550 at the least or more.  Breaking Dawn made more than your prediction (537) and while the twilight series has a tiny bit better gross overseas than THG (not by much) I still think Part 2 will get more.  Why you may ask?  Part 2 is going to go out with a bang ( a lot of action and deaths) and will have good critical reception.  Those two factors alone will elevate it.  Honestly, I think part 2 will ending up doing great overseas, but probably not as good US (prediction is 400 mil, but might be slightly lower).  We will have to see!

Good guess   I think at the least 550 now.  I have this feeling that the premiere in China will make it do really good.

Well, "Part 1". Plus the reviews weren't as grand as the others. Hopefully Part 2 will pull through in China, it most definitely will OS with the added 3D effect.

I'm not expecting big numbers from China, there will be a lot of competition and The Martian is opening on nov 25.

If this is able to make $525m that would already be awesome considering the drop in ER. With MJ1 exchange rates, those $525m would mean $575-600m, maybe more. Basically, we would be talking about $150m increase in terms of local currencies in just one year. IMHO, to think beyond $500-525 is quite risky. Never say never, but I do not see it.

First 90 minutes was boring as MJ1, and the ending is nothing special, not as emotional as I hoped.
