I thought Selma was a truly great film, but similar to The Hurricane ('99), the historical inaccuracy has hurt the film for me.

In better news,American Sniper made $18M on Friday; and if its projected$61.2M second wide weekend holds, that will be the third highest haul for a film playing in January behind Sniper’s opening weekend of $89.3M and Avatar’s third FSS of $68.5M. It is also the second best weekend for any film that went wide (or opened) in January.
