kitik
I think most folks have been saying mid-teens for Project Almanac.
CoolioD1
I only heard about this movie last week when I saw the trailer before ex machina. looked like a chronicle ripoff but with time travel. not sure why you'd wanna rip off chronicle. ecstasy
Well maybe not collapsing but correcting itself. It has already made a ridiculous amount of money and has an amazing run so far.
DAR
American Sniper is collapsing. Super Bowl weekend my friend. Lot of audience crossover
filmlover
All three openers look to open in the "meh" to "poor" range, unsurprisingly.
BadAtGender
Well maybe not collapsing but correcting itself. It has already made a ridiculous amount of money and has an amazing run so far. It's going to turn into one of the weirdest runs of all time. The limited release was spectacular, perhaps the best ever. The first ten wide days were amazing. And then it's like, okay, the audience has been sated... Maybe it just hit a wall on how far WoM could take it.

grim22
American Sniper is collapsing. 71% drop estimated on Sunday. Superbowl. Monday should see a very minimal drop, if any, if the 71% holds.

That's actually a pretty low Sunday drop. Last year Ride Along, Lone Survivor, Jack Ryan, American Hustle, and Wolf of Wall Street all had drops that were more than 73%. Their Monday drops were in the 30-50% range. AS is probably going to see a Monday no bigger than 3.1m.

I said in one of the weekday threads that AS run is a first for Box Office watchers. At least this is the first time I've seen one like this.
