Just watched it.

Why was it so hated by critics? I mean, yeah, it's not a good movie by any way, but it was basically the original movie all over again, lol.

The only difference between both movies is that this one was way more 'clean' than the already clean first one, I mean, I never read the books, but, is this the reason for all the buzz? Seriously? None of the sex scenes are exciting at all, even if they have good music behind it, it's just too cold to have any impact with the public.

The whole 'plot' is boring and full of plot holes, although, I have to say that I liked the way that they wrote Anastacia, this time, she's on the control, she actually has some self esteem and she gives the rules, which is way more enjoyable than see a possessive relationship being glorified. These "villains" were just ridiculous, the only reason they're there is to make the movie longer. Seriously, WTF was that Leila character? I think it was the worst support character that I ever watched, lol. And Basinger was terrible as well, I couldn't stop laughing at that climax that came from a melodramatic soap opera.

Overall, it's a boring movie, with boring characters, and boring sex scenes (why is Dornan always dressed???? Jesus, this is ridiculous, his only function in these movies is to show his body, and not even it he can do?!), well, there's at least good songs to keep me awake.

Fifty Shades Freed might Godzilla its way to $100 million next year.

FSF will benefit from the "final chapter" effect and at least match FSD. FSD also ended up with far better legs than people predicted.

Could have gotten to 115m if they tracked it a bit longer

Yes, it's quite annoying - still a huge success regardless.

Fifty Shades of Grey and Fifty Shades Darker are the two biggest 18-rated movies in the UK.
