What's interesting about this weekend is that Valentine's Day boosts are crazy even for films that don't seem like they should get the boost.  The last time if feel like it will this weekend was 2009.  I wouldn't be surprised to see AS have a 200% increase on Friday and a 90% increase on Saturday.

RoboCop was the number 1 movie last year over here on VD weekend. Every movie seems to get a crazy bump in that day.

But VD fell on Friday last year.....this year you get the Friday the 13th semi bump and then VD...perfect storm.

Friday the 13th only bumps horror movies.

I think there is a small bump that goes along with it for other films.  How do you explain Taken jumping 250% on Friday the 13th?

I know it's meant as a pan but they could put that on the DVD box.

I am sure some Sony executive is watching us and will use it when they re-release the first movie on Bluray 3D when the 2nd one comes out in theaters.

No it's not; my most anticipated movie of 2015 is Mission Impossible 5. ( followed closely by Mockingjay Part 2)

It was a joke. I was pretty sure it wasn't. I know you really wanna see it but there are others above it.
