Jake Gittes
Eternal Sunshine did seem like one of the more likely possibilities.
The Futurist
That kid/teen from Boyhood looked high during most of the film. It seemed like nothing fazed him. Such a boring character. His sister tells it to him which was so meta. The only interesting part of the film was to detect the Time jumps. The movie had as much charaterization cliches than Green Lantern, just set in a cheap indie film without vfx. The parents, the step fathers, the girlfriend , I already saw all these characters 1000 times, except done in a better way. Alpha
incorrect. You know, you really shouldn't give away what films are and aren't gonna be on the list. Edited April 17, 2015 by Alpha
Avatree
You know, you really shouldn't give away what films are and aren't gonna be on the list. Everything I've said is a ruse.

Kvikk Lunsj
The Social Network. ( plus we've been told that TA won't show up here) I would be surprise I think Treeroy was lying. I think it is going to be number 1. Avengers makes every list on the best of you. I think the forum had rated the 20th best film of all time last year. So it going to be on the list. Jake Gittes
There's no possible way The Avengers is above The Dark Knight and Inception, much less LOTR and I'm not even talking about the beloved non-blockbusters.
Avatree
#7 78.78% Director: Peter Jackson Written by: Peter Jackson, Philippa Boyens, Stephen Sinclair & Fran Walsh The astonishing second instalment of Jackson's epic adaptation of the legendary fantasy novel, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers charges into our list at #7. Ethan Hunt
Easily the best Lord of the Rings movie
TalismanRing
Eh. It's by far the weakest of the LOTR for me.
The Futurist
LOTR was shot at once. Tolkien wanted to publish one book. Debating which movie is better is a moot point.
Avatree
Best of middle-earth imo.
Avatree
LOTR was shot at once. Tolkien wanted to publish one book. Debating which movie is better is a moot point. Wrong. Although they were shot at the same time, the three films are written as separate films; the novel is just written as one novel but sold in separate volumes. The three films all have traditional three acts. It's why they made so many changes and rearranged the storyline for the movies - otherwise the first two films would not have climaxes and would feel poorly paced. Kalo
Glad Two Towers made the top #10. but still to low. of course anything below #3 would be too low for it.
The Futurist
But If I had to choose, Two Towers, Gollum, battle of Deep something, the march of the ents. But I always saw these movies as a whole, a stunning cinematic achievement. PJ never really recovered from it.
