Avatree
#1 100% Director: Peter Jackson Written by: Philippa Boyens, Fran Walsh & Peter Jackson The mesmerising, beautiful conclusion to a truly epic cinematic achievement. Brimming with Jackson's burning passion for the source masterpiece is the greatest film of the 21st Century. Kvikk Lunsj
You should have! Wouldn't have changed #1 though you could have been able to move Sunshine down to #3. Here we go then. Unfortunately there are no dwarf tossing gifs to put in the next post. I thought this was just your list until I saw it was a count down for everyone list. I did not have 2 or 3 on my list. ROTK would been on my list but most likely it would be 50 or higher.

Avatree
Thank you so much to everyone who submitted a list and followed the countdown. I enjoyed doing this a lot and will likely create similar threads in the future. I know there were some disappointments on the list, e.g. the vast number of 2014 movies, but at the end of the day, this forum has a lot of different people, and not everyone is gonna be happy with every result. I'm personally very glad to see so many quality non-blockbusters at the top, I didn't expect that. Early on it looked like Gravity, Inception and TDK were gonna win, and I'd be a bit disappointed. But alas, I am pleased. No Avengers and no Hunger Games makes me happy. FULL LIST 1-100: 1. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 3. Avatree
Arguing which LOTR is better is kinda pointless. Not because 'they're all one movie' (they're not) but because it's been done to death and no one is ever gonna change their mind. Everyone has their personal preference and the three are so close in quality that it doesnt really matter.
