There were three Christian movie trailers that played in front of the movie tonight weirdly. After one of them a group of people booed lol

A+ cinemascore incoming? Just looking at twitter and reddit all glowing reviews so far. Calling it best CBM and best Spider-Man movie like gitesh is saying. A lot  of people have said they’ll see it multiple times which is crucial for legs.

5213 in pre sales (releasing today. For comparison, Aquaman already has 25,000 presales and is releasing next week.

Holidays don't really affect international by much. Usually a small boost. The biggest boost is always domestic. I'm guessing a 70/30 domestic-overseas split by the end of the run.

Now this is how you make a superhero movie. Also this is up to 87 on Metacritic. 1 points below Black Panthers score. This is winning  the Oscar. Everybody is loving it.

Speaking of which, y'all who love this movie also need to see Rise of the Guardians (Peter Ramsey directed that). A lot of the action in this movie seems to give off a lot of the same vibes as that film has, only without Alec Baldwin as a Russian Santa Claus.

This is great! probably the best sequence of "testing new powers" in SH movies (of movies I've seen). No motion sickness. Amazing animation that doesn't feel like animation. Should have powerful WOM. My sisters are crushing on Miles hard and prefer him to Parker.

The fact that this is maintaining an 8.9 average while nearing 200 reviews is absolutely insane. As far as mainstream stuff goes, this is essentially in the company of a very select few Pixar movies for average rating. Definitely never saw this coming, no matter how good I thought it looked from trailers. Really interested to see why this seems to be making critics go crazy.

it really is good. it has to juggle a number of characters and does so well. they are charming and easy to root for. the villain is sympathetic. there's a big character twist along the way. humor works well with many ROTFL moments. Action is fantastic.
