Do you think Cinderella has enough juice to squeak past $200M?

Definitely not.

If you look last year at Maleficent, on the same day - day 46 - it earned $712K, whereas Cinderella is earning $173M. Maleficent had 20M left, for this to get another 9M would be very difficult indeed.

I always love it when some bullshit Disney animal documentary makes 10M and then I look at the BOM chart and it's like the 13th biggest grossing documentary ever.

Sadly, everyone else is right. It probably won't pass 200M (even though it deserves to).

Nah. Not even with double features with Avengers.

Disney will get it there, here is how John Carter did when Avengers released

Apr 27–29 35 $112,881 -33.0% 180 -64 $627 $69,219,949 8
May 4–6 12 $1,494,367 +1,224% 349 +169 $4,282 $70,760,807 9

And Prince of Persia with TS3

Jun 11–13 6 $6,486,150 -53.7% 3,108 -538 $2,087 $72,228,302 3
Jun 18–20 6 $5,566,464 -14.2% 2,605 -503 $2,137 $80,800,574 4

LOL I looked at John Carter the other day when it was discussed in one of the numbers threads.

Haha wow I never saw that before! Fingers crossed Disney does the same with Cindy!

Not really comparable situations. By that point Maleficent was well into summer which has inflated weekdays.

It's better to look at Oz, which earned 168k on the comparable Monday. It earned about another 10m from that point on, which Cindy should be able to achieve.

It'll squeak past 200m, but probably just barely.
