I wouldn't be surprised if Avengers 2 holds up better than expected next weekend due to the fight tonight, the draft, NBA playoffs, fanning of flames in Baltimore, etc. Especially since Hot Pursuit isn't anywhere close to Dark Shadows in terms of competition. And if it opens above $200 million (certainly possible considering Marvel's massive family appeal), why would $550 million be ridiculous? It's $75 million less than the first. It's doable, but not extremely likely. 2.75 multiplier is no joke. Cap 2 didn't even reach that despite opening less than half of the $200m we're talking about for TA2. This Mayweather/Manny fight has to be taken into consideration. Also Game 7 in the NBA playoffs with defending champion Spurs. Also Day 3 of NFL draft.
