Chinese film industry produced 944 movies in a year, and only 379 of which get a theatrical release. They've been adding 30% per year. 24k to 31k to 40k and now it looks like they're heading to 52k.. they are over saturating and cannibilzing though. They've doubled the daily shows since 2015 without any growth. Some theaters will be hurting. Might hear about closings next year. I predict less than 3% growth in screens next year Without service fee the year is at 13.59B down 6.3% 910m. FF8 will probably close that gap and bring the year even as far as growth is concerned in yuan, but down 5% in dollars.
