Luke Evans is a million times the actor that Chris Evans is, regardless of what Marvel stans say. And Theroux and Leto are both incredibly talented. I still don't understand what people saw in that book. Glad Emily Blunt landed the role, now it's only time to hope that the script is better than the book.

I thought Disney might still have a stake in Ghost in the Shell. I assume Universal is still going to keep Girl on the Train on October 7th since they removed Monster High on that date.

I'm currently reading the book and quite enjoying it. Doubt the movie will be anywhere nearly as huge as Gone Girl was but I could see a total close to $100M if all goes right.

I like Chris Evans, but I have to say Theroux's work in the Leftovers is better than anything Evans has done as a performer.

 

Haven't read the book though so I don't know who is specifically the better fit.

The book was a nice one night read. Emily Blunt would still get my money even if I had hated it.

Reading the book and can say that Justin Theroux definitely fits the role much better than Chris Evans. Same with Luke Evans, who replaced Jared Leto. Makes for a more balanced cast anyway since Leto and Chris Evans are much bigger than everyone else in this, even Blunt.
