Somebody needs to VAR these reviews and double check these critiques.

VAR found the critic commited a foul on Cruise by talking about his ego. Cruise gets the penalty and... is allowed to write a review about that critics ego or something idk.

Everyone in here agrees people should put personal feelings aside when judging Cruise the actor

This is not a road you really want to go down, methinks

Which animated movie is the #1?

Into The Spider-Verse. None of the rest leftover really have me excited this year. That and I am what you are to Snyder to Lord/Miller.

The boys at Slant are often irritating contrarians but I don't see the problem with that blurb. The crucial part isn't about Cruise's ego (that's merely an aside), it's the "in the service of what exactly?", which tells you that he thinks the movie is hollow because there's no point behind the action. You can agree or not (personally I'm just fine with action for the sake of it) but it's a valid take.

Also I've been working as a paid reviewer for more than 7 years and lemme tell you movies aren't fucking Olympics. Personal feelings are a vital and necessary part of "the job".

After hearing the Rockets want Melo, I needed a happy place.

Say it again, I'm almost finished.

Celebrating Melo leaving Thunder, that's part of the job.

The guy that scored the only rotten review so far. I looked at his resume at the site and WOW he has relally bad taste.

Movies he has rated as rotten:

Avenger Infinity War

Captain America: Civil War

La La Land

Nocturnal Animals

Hereditary

Star Trek Beyond

Despite it often being the lowest ranked M:I film, I do believe this thread has referenced M:I II more than anything else., and don't mind it at all. Dougray Scott is arguably one of the more memorable villains of the series. Plenty of delicious one liners.

Other than Nocturnal Animals, I’d say he is on the money with all of those reviews.
