Yeah no one will fake surprise either, everyone was expecting this to get really good reviews like the previous franchise entries and non-franchise entrie those 2 made together. Faking to be surprised would just make you look very stupid no ?

There are a few that if time permits I'd like to get to but this is the last Blockbuster film in my list for summer '18.

It's looking like 3 for 3 right now (based on current reactions). Jack Reacher might be on the weak end due to questionable casting, but it's still an effectively made thriller.

It goes a bit deeper than just directing, McQuarrie is Cruise's boy toy, he s his official script-writer-director-script doctor-friend-main collaborator.
