The set pieces look awesome in this. Probably massively spoiled myself but has a Mission Impossible 3 type of vibe from the marketing. And how many times can the team, the government or whoever runs the organization fuck Ethan over? 

I hope it's as solid as the last one.

They're rather aggressive in selling the wow factor of the helicopter sequence, which leads me to believe it's going to be one of the biggest showstoppers of the summer. Cruise doesn't mess around when it comes to "bang for your buck" spectacle, and this appears to be a series high right here.

I don't like to feed into hyperbole, but this might go higher than Ghost Protocol if the stars are aligned just right.

Henry Jackman is the composer. A decent choice all things considered. Not as skilled as Kraemer but I'll take it.

 

Oh, and the trailer is extremely well edited. The cinematography is clearly best in franchise and the acting/action is on point. To play the comparison game; Casino Royale, Skyfall, and the first three Bourne films are in a different league to the MI films and I'm hoping Fallout will bring the franchise to the next level.

Late Summer is getting more and more empty. This will benefit, and it does seem like hype is more in line with GP than RN.

After watching the trailer with Black Panther, I got a kick out of Henry Cavill's line:

 

"How many times has Hunt's goverment betrayed him, disavowed him, cast him aside? How long before a man like that has had enough?"

 

Almost feels like a wink to the fact that the plots to the prior movies have been almost too similar to each other.
