The second MI:F trailer played in front of my showing of Solo today and (after looking it up to be exact), Cruise has been a major, headlining start since Risky Business arrived on the scene way back in 1983. That's 35 years for him in this business, which is notorious for its short careers. He's had far more hits than misses during that timespan and I don't see how anyone can dismiss him as not being dedicated to his craft or not appreciating everything he has done over his career. Yeah, he's had some crazy stuff happen off screen; however he has earned his place among Hollywood royalty. I hope Fallout performs well and it should given its release date and the barren weeks afterward. Undoubtedly there will be another Mission Impossible film in 3-5 years and I'm looking forward to it.

They had a test screening in Vegas last night. Wells has some sources that say the movie is good. Keep precautions because i remember Well's sources said Baywatch was good too.

the whole point of these movies is that the stunts are real, so why would you want to watch in fake  3D version?

Who approved of that poster? I mean, it would work on a large format where Cruise is dwarfed by the surroundings, but it looks absolutely ridiculous as a small one sheet. Furthermore, not entirely surprised by the good WOM so far. Trailers and released footage from various conventions have been nothing short of awesome.

I laugh every time Superman charges up his fists in the trailer. Still, great trailer and I'll be there opening weekend if the reviews are at least decent. Tom Cruise makes every movie he's in watchable.

Wow, this movie may be having the most dichotomous relationship between trailers and posters ever. The former are amazing, the latter horrendous. Good thing the former matter more for marketing purposes
