And i like MI2 for cheesy fun. But Rogue Nation is a much, much more competent action film.

So true id say this one's one of my fav cheesy movies :D

To be frank i never get bored of watching this when i do a MI Marathon every year!

I dint like this one for some point of time but my opinion changed when i watched it again!

Every mission offers something different so I ranked them based on these:

Story/Plot: MI, MI3, GP, RN, MI2

Stunt: GP, RN, MI, MI3, M2

Opening: MI, GP, MI3, RN, MI2

Cast: RN, GP, MI, MI3, M2

Villain: MI3, MI, MI2, RN, GP

Girl: RN, MI2, GP, MI3, MI

Cars: MI3, MI2, GP, RN, MI

Soundtrack: MI2, MI, GP, RN, MI3

Based on this the result is:

1. MI

2. GP

3. RN

3. MI3

5. MI2

Personally I rank GP and RN quite close and probably they are my favourite, too, but overall I must conclude that the first Mission was the best, the story, the tension, the twist, the stunt, the score, it's got it all. MI3 had the best villain, MI2 got the best soundtrack and the doves haha

http://deadline.com/2017/08/tom-cruise-injured-in-stunt-on-mission-impossible-6-1202147833/

Quote

Cruise was hurt when he failed to successfully leap from a rigging onto a building landing. He came up short on the jump and slammed into the side of a building. He managed to hoist himself onto the building roof, but staggered there and appeared badly shaken. He then returned to the rigging via wire supports and walked away from the area with a noticeable limp, as seen in video shot at the scene.
