If you want a goofy movie with tons of violence epic made by James Gunn you'll love this one. He knocked it out the park. Very straight forward movie. Probably the best movie of DC's lineup this far. This film knows it's for a fun time and let's you know in your face. Need more R-rating Gunn movies. 

 

Also if you've never seen the other Suicide Squad, you don't really need to watch it for this one to make sense.

Seeing this tonight on the SuperScreen. 
 

Wasn’t a fan of the first film but loved Birds of Prey/Margot as Harley. Excited considering the rave reviews.

Just checked my local Cineworld in the UK and it actually seems to be selling surprisingly well for tonight. The main evening shows in IMAX and on regular screens appear to be heavily sold despite the one seat gap social distancing still in place. There definitely seems to have been in an uptick over the last couple of days.

I was making jokes with my brother yesterday that TSS could be Oscar nominated . But, is that really so absurd now? I mean, I'm sure it wouldn't win but with Joker and Bohemian Rhapsody nominated despite (way) worse reviews it could happen, no?

In France it was again #2 yesterday behind Kaamelott (source: cbo-boxoffice.com) but that was absolutely needed of course to have a chance against Jungle Cruise which will probably win the Saturday and maybe also the Sunday. OTOH maybe WOM helps already.
 The Audience Score at allocine is still 3.7/5 with now ca. 500 votes and 58 user reviews.

Credit to WB for pulling in Gunn when he was briefly fired from Guardians 3 movie. I am sure they will offer him big money to direct further DC flicks. Get him to make the next Justice League :-)

It's not free in France, which is what Menor is talking about. They don't have HBO Max there. Don't think they even have it on PVOD
