Jake Gittes
I guess now it has a shot at climbing over Ex Machina's $25.4m to become A24's highest grossing movie.

SWXII
Theater chains/owners willingly latching on to this PR gimmick? Wow. Insane.
AniNate
I didn't care much for the movie, but I have to concede this is quite clever and audacious, especially with Easter and GND2 Sent from my Z667T using Tapatalk
WrathOfHan
It's only like one showtime a day pretty much everywhere

Can you imagine a car dealer having $666 off on Halloween or a Apple offering a 666 branded iPhone. But, clearly there is a witch hunt going on in Florida so I guess people have given in to there worst instincts. There is no future in it. AniNate
Yes I can imagine those things. And I would find them funny too Sent from my Z667T using Tapatalk
Joel M
I think it's funny, A24 obviously toying with the kind of hilarious satanic temple endorsment, it's not like religious groups are offended. The movie isn't even on their radar.

Jake Gittes
I dunno... basically all of those films performed more or less like I would've expected them to. Maybe Room could have done better prior to the Oscars (like with Whiplash the year before, I think it was a missed opportunity to not release it a few hundred theaters right away) if it hadn't got lost behind more hyped platform releases. Besides they've still only been around for three years.
