RobinHood26
All I know is that when you drove down the Freeway in LA you can see CIVIL WAR on the billboard for 1/2 a mile. Captain america is in letters 1/10th the size that you can't see unless you're right next to it. So idk about this being just a "Cap" movie. I'm also pretty sure its called just Civil War or Marvel's Civil War overseas in some places.

Although worth noting that in 2013's exchange rates, CW has already surpassed IM3 OS but no accounting for overall inflation.

Blaze Heatnix
Universal keeps making more than Avengers. Jurassic World makes more than Avengers, and Minions might make more than Civil War. That being said, Civil War won't be making 1.2 billion worldwide.

Captain America is now one of the biggest brands of the movie industry. Totally deserved given how fantastic Civil War is

I very much doubt Captain America as a brand has grown as much as these numbers suggest.

Elessar
Iron Man is bigger. Doubt a CA solo movie would have crossed one billion.
John Marston
without Robert Downey, Civil War wouldn't have sniffed 1 billion

WS was 260 / 454.5 / 714.5 (dom / os / ww) "CA3", 300 / 550 / 850 probably Still could have been par with BVS and easily ahead of MOS. The OS gross last weekend was 12.5M if I remember so that's an ugly drop of more than 65% right? Bad legs everywhere
